Psychological Assessments
Florere provides comprehensive assessments of a child's cognitive functioning and their academic skills. These assessments are designed to identify a child's strengths and challenges to help determine how to best support each child in their learning environment. These assessments can also determine if a child has a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability or a Specific Learning Disorder such as Dyslexia.
The Assessment Process
1
Initial Consult
After we have received your enquiry, we will contact you to further discuss the assessment and confirm we are able to provide the service you are looking for.
2
Forms & Questionnaires
The next step is to complete forms required for the assessment, including consent forms and a background questionnaire about your child's history.
3
Testing
Next is the testing session. We start with activities to help your child settle in and feel comfortable before starting the formal cognitive and academic testing.
4
Feedback Meeting
Approximately two weeks after the testing session, we will meet with you to discuss the results of the assessment.
5
Report
We will then send you a written report, which includes the assessment results, outcomes and recommendations.
